Would You Rather Book Tag

Melย from the Bookish Wanderer was the one I first saw do this tag, then recentlyย Pamelaย did it too and reminded me that I wanted to do it! So here we are.

Would you rather: a series or a standalone?

It depends on the series to be honest, some I’ve tried but hated so I couldn’t finish it, others I read all in a row…Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I’m gonna go with series, cause thinking about leaving a series I love unfinished irks me.

Would you rather: read only female authors or only male authors?

I think the bulk of authors I read tend to be female, so I’ll go with that.

Would you rather: shop at Barnes & Noble or Amazon?

We don’t have Barnes and Noble in NZ. But I have ordered books for my kindle through Amazon, so I’ll go with them.

Would you rather: all book adaptations become movies or tv shows?

I like the idea of tv shows, as you could fit in a lot more since the length is just longer you know, and you could do series and such.

Would you rather: read 5 pages a week or 5 books a week?

I would go nuts if I was limited to only 5 pages a week. But ย I don’t have enough time to read 5 books a week. So, I’ll go 5 a week, just give me extra hours.

Would you rather: be a professional book reviewer or a professional author?

I don’t think I have enough ideas to be an author and publish lots of books. I’d be happy reading and reviewing though! That sounds like fun ๐Ÿ˜€

Would you rather: only read your top 20 books over and over again or always read a new book?

I would get sick of all the books I keep rereading, so I’ll go with a new book. That’s what I’ve been doing this yeah anyway, and I’m enjoying it.

Would you rather: be a librarian or book seller?

Book seller. You’d have to be all fussy and chase up people as a librarian, whereas a book seller means that you’re giving the book a new owner rather than lending it, and that seems more fun.

Would you rather: read only from your favorite genre or read anything but your favorite genre?

I don’t have a favourite genre I don’t think. I like a wide range of books, so I’ll go anything but favourite since that covers everything.

Would you rather: read physical books or ebooks?

Both honestly. I was reading kindle for the first half of my books this year, then I made the jump to physical books when I borrowed from the library. I don’t really have a preference. But I do like that I can carry multiple books in my kindle. So I’ll go with ebooks.

  1. This summer sure has been filled with reading. I have read two nonfiction books, two fantasy book while currently reading a third fantasy book, one mystery, and one classic. I am that person who prefers the physical books because reading is more fun that way
